Celebrating Christmas
On December 21, 2023, the Vic Mahoney Center held a Christmas lunch. It’s very important to get together to celebrate! Many were in attendance including participants of community services and staff. The meal consisted of turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, gravy, and deserts. It was a very tasty meal! After we ate, Santa came by for a visit and brought everyone a small gift. We had a special guest attend, and she sang Christmas songs in Cree which was truly wonderful. I wish to thank the Vic Mahoney Center Staff for organizing this luncheon, the program staff and the management who volunteered to help out and serve the food for this luncheon. It gave us all the opportunity to share a meal together and appreciate one another while rejoicing in the spirit of Christmas.
