Natalie

NatalieNatalie is a 27-year-old young adult with great ambition and drive for a successful and meaningful life. Natalie began the challenge of transition to adulthood when she became part of the Foundations Program in 2005. Some of Natalie’s most important goals in life were to live on her own, go to college, have paid employment and contribute to our community.

Together, Natalie’s aspiration and Specialized Person Centered Support, Natalie was able to excel in her goals.

Natalie has successfully graduated from the one year Vocational Program at Northern College in June 2007. This program has provided Natalie with a wide variety of skills and experiences and a new career at Levis Food Land. Natalie had great plans of living independently, and since January 2007, she has accomplished just that.

When it comes to community contribution, Natalie is a role model for her hard work and dedication. Natalie has spent many hours with Volunteer Timmins, United Way, Canadian Hearing Society and other organizations to promote awareness. Natalie has recently been elected to become a Board Member for Community Living Timmins.

What a great life ahead of Natalie with endless opportunities!!!
