Every once in a while, you are given the chance to honour individuals and do things that they loved to do. Two years ago Community Living and Special Olympics lost two very special individuals who both loved to curl, so the Red v.s. Blue was born.
Each year in their memory a curling bonspiel occurs where half the teams register will curl in the memory of Darcy Traviss who represents Special Olympics, and the other half represent Norm Martin who represents Community Living. At the end of the day all funds that are raised are donated back to these two organizations in honor of these two gentleman.
Everyone that attends the event always says they have a blast and this year we even had a team from Australia join us!!! We hope the event continues to grow as it brings everyone together for a great cause and to remember our friends.
