One of Michlines favorite activities is to go shopping and seeing new and old friends.
In the picture to the left, Michline is out at the square where she is connecting with friends and friends to be, as a result of funding through the United Way. You can see by the smile on her face how thrilled she is to do this. Sometimes she is able to meet with friends for lunch, other times for shopping where she can shop for gifts, clothes and the thrill of the hunt as she loves to see the new fashion trends. There is no doubt that this funding has a huge impact on Michline’s quality of life!

Gisele grew up in the height of fashion and one of her favorite things is to find that “special find”.
In the picture to the right, she is out shopping and trying on funky glasses as she is showing her friends her best Audrey Hepburn impression.
In addition to trying on glasses, Giselle loves to try on new outfits, with her favorite shopping spot being Giant Tiger. She looks forward to these outings that were not always possible, without the generosity of the United Way.

Once you get to know Joanne, you will know that she has a very infectious smile that she loves to share with anyone she meets.
As a result of the United Way funding, in the picture to the left, Joanne is visiting her friends in a program where she is able to connect with others who share similar interests in shopping and craft. Joanne has a huge smile on her face as she shows, with pride, the beautifully decorated spoon that she bought for her mother that she was able to purchase at the Timmins Square. Thank you United Way!
